I Got an Idea! Now What?

Frequently I hear great people who have the drive and determination to get something more out of life come up with an idea.

I Got an Idea! Now What? That idea could be to start a new business, acquire a piece of real-estate, or an invention but immediately after the idea comes the BIG question immediately follows…Now what do I do?

We have all had great ideas. In fact our ideas were so great that someone else (who we did not know) took our same idea and made millions. Then the thoughts come…if only I would have...

Great ideas do not care who generates them and they will succeed with anyone who is willing to work them through…until that idea is a success. The dilemma is that people believe in their idea but they do not believe in themselves enough to pursue the idea until that idea produced millions. Then someone else who has the same idea, years after you had it comes along believes in the idea, with the same passion you did, but they believed in themselves a little more, than you did. And at the end of the day the individual who believed in his or herself made the profit and reaped the benefits.

So how do you get started in the journey of pursuing your idea? Here are 5 M.O.N.E.Y. tips to get you started.

Make a Commitment to Do Something

Purchase a book about the idea that you want to pursue, do some research online, or call all of your friends and ask them if they know anyone who can help your get started in your pursuit of your idea

One Idea at a Time

Creative people are great about coming up with them but more often than not, horrible about following through with what they said they were going to do. I have never met a rich man who said I became rich because I am the jack of all trades.

Never Tell Negative People your Ideas

This is the fastest way to destroy your self-esteem. Negative people cannot encourage you because they do not believe in themselves. If someone is consistently talking about others in a negative tone do not let them in on your plans.

Endurance Will Win the Race

No matter how great the idea is, success will not happen overnight. Someone once said, “It takes fifteen years to become an overnight success.”

You are your Best Asset

The best idea you could ever come up with is the idea that you are worth investing in. Purchase books, attend seminars that are in line with your passion and listen to CDs of successful people who are living the type of lifestyle that you want to live.

Follow the M.O.N.E.Y. trail towards the realization of your idea to the millions of dollars that will follow.
