Positive Thinking

In this life we will be exposed to two types of individuals. Those individuals will either be part of the 5% or the 95%. The difference between the two groups is subtle, but the results are dramatic.

Positive ThinkingThe 5% are the individuals who know what they want out of life and are working steadily to fulfill that desire. These are the ones who are truly successful. But, what is success and how do we measure the level of success?

I choose the definition of Earl Nightengale who says, “Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal.” Success is the man who runs the gas station because that is what he wanted to do. Success is the woman who stays at home with her children because that has been her desire from youth.

The 5% know exactly what they want to get out of life and are consistently working and planning to make sure that life surrenders the results they desire. They believe that there is no obstacle to sufficiently strong that can hold them back from their dream. Therefore, they press on despite the opposition in order to achieve.

The 95% are the people who do not know what they want to accomplish in life or are too afraid to press past their fears in order to go after their dream. Because these people do not know what they want, they are not going to accomplish it for if you do not know where you are going how you are going to get there.
